Background: Hit .339 last spring and earned First Team All-Northern Region outfield honors...top 60 time at the NWAACC Sophomore Showcase (6.7 seconds)...made the New Zealand National team which is attempting to earn a spot in the 2013 World Baseball Classic...stole 25 out of 28 bases this summer...Played at Mount Si HS under Coach Elliot Cribby...four-year letter-winner…All-League Kingco 3A outfielder during senior year as well as Kingco 3A “Player of the Year” and Seattle Times “Star Times” selection… All-State selection and played in All-State series in Yakima … prep team won 2011 3A state championship...played summer baseball for the Washington Warriors for Coach Tim Ahern...team won three tournaments.

Personal: Born April 30, 1993...son of Grant Brown and Robin Sims… also recruited by Everett CC, Edmonds CC, Green River CC and Skagit Valley CC…Possible major in sports management/marketing…Chose Bellevue for great baseball program and great starting point for both education and sporting endeavors… lists greatest baseball thrill as winning 3A state championship at Mount Si.
