Fall Season Opens This Saturday

The 2011 Bellevue College baseball team will make its debut this Saturday October 2 as they host the Seattle Mariners Scout Team, a collection of some of the top high school prospects in the state. The Bulldogs have played the Mariner team on an annual basis in the fall and will also host defending NWAACC Champion Lower Columbia, west region rival Green River, and north region rival Skagit Valley to close out the fall season. The team will also hold their annual Blue-Red World Series intrasquad to close out the fall practice season. Because fall scrimmages are not official games, rainouts will not be made up. Below is the complete fall schedule.

*all scrimmages at Courter Field on Bellevue campus
*all scrimmages will be 18 innings (no break after the 9th inning of game one)

Sat. Oct. 2 vs. Seattle Mariners Scout Team. 12PM start

Sun. Oct. 10 vs. Lower Columbia. 12 PM start

Sun. Oct. 17 vs. Green River. 12 PM start (may be moved up to 11AM due to darkness)

Sat. Oct. 24 vs. Skagit Valley 11 AM start.
