BRENT HERMANSON RESIGNS AS BC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH

Bellevue College head women's basketball coach Brent Hermanson has resigned, due to work and family obligations that have made it difficult to continue coaching. This was Hermanson's fifth year leading the Bulldogs. The squad qualified for the NWAACC Championships all four previous years and finished 23-7 en route to a fifth place finish in 2011. Hermanson elevated many areas of the program including recruiting, fundraising sponsorships, and many technical advances for both the college and the NWAACC as a whole. The team will complete the remainder of the 2012-2013 season under Jeremy Eggers and Angela Jensen, who were named co-head coaches by Athletic Director Bill O' Connor.
