BULLDOGS CAN'T FIND RHYTHM, FALL TO LOWER COLUMBIA
December 10, 2007
Coming off a heartbreaking loss to Highline at home, the BCC women’s basketball team dropped their second straight game Saturday December 8th, falling 56-38 at Lower Columbia.
The Bulldogs fell behind early and had a hard time overcoming a 17 point halftime deficit. BCC refused to go down without a fight and played even with LCCC in the second half but was unable to climb back after falling behind early. BCC had another strong rebounding effort, out-boarding Lower Columbia 36-35 behind Sophomores Marissa Bower (Anacortes HS) and Alicia Tennyson (Lake Washington HS) who both finished with 9 rebounds. Sophomore Danielle Bue (Issaquah HS/Green River CC) led the Bulldogs in scoring with 12 while Tennyson narrowly missed a double double with 9 points. Tennyson also recorded a game high 3 assists.
Next up for the BCC women is a weekend crossover at Mount Hood Friday December 14th to Sunday December 16th.
