BELLEVUE WOMEN STRUGGLE; FALL TO CARDINALS
Unable to find a rhythm offensively, the BCC women’s basketball team dropped their second decision of the year to Skagit Valley 59-49, snapping a five game winning streak. Leading the way for Bellevue was freshman Briana Lewis who scored a game high 22 points to go along with 5 boards and 3 steals. Also in double figures for the Bulldogs was sophomore Lyndsee Landon who added 11 points, grabbed a team high 7 boards, and dished out a team high 5 assists. Sophomore Marissa Bower grabbed 6 boards while blocking a game high 6 shots. Next up the Lady Bulldogs will try for a sweep of Whatcom CC on Wednesday, February 20th at 5:30pm after defeating the Orcas 69-54 in their previous matchup this season.
