Make it Two! BCC Records Second Straight Sweep

The BCC Volleyball team knotched their second three game sweep in as many matches, easily defeating the Gators of Green River Community College 30-27, 30-15, 30-16 to improve their overall record to 3-5. The Bulldog offense was potent, accumulating 40 kills to Green River's 25, while the defense was stingy, racking up 45 digs to the Gators' 28.

Three Bulldogs chipped in double digit kills, with Kasey Blevins leading the pack with 17, while Nicole Ljutic and Jessica DuBois added 10 apiece. BCC displayed excellent passing throughout the match, highlighted by Sharon Kelley's and Juleea Perez, who added 18 and 16 assists respectively.

Up next, the eighth ranked Bulldogs will host the BCC Alumni Game on Friday, September 14 at 6:30pm. BCC will open Northern Region play next week, when they travel to Olympic College in Bremerton on September 19 at 7:00pm. Bellevue's next home match will be on September 26 versus Shoreline, again at 7:00pm.
