The #6 ranked Bulldogs played four games the weekend of April 17-18 at the NWAACC Crossover Tournament in Selah, going 2-2. The Bulldogs opened up the weekend beating #3 ranked Clackamas 3-0 behind the pitching from Ashleigh Carter and a strong defensive showing. In game two, the Bulldogs lost to #7 ranked Walla Walla. The Bulldogs outhit the Warriors, but left too many runners stranded and fell by a score of 4-2.

On Sun., April 18, game three pitted the Bulldogs against #2 ranked Mt. Hood. The game proved to be a classic battle between the two teams. Mt. Hood scored first, but the Bulldogs battled back to tie the game. Bellevue had a number of opportunities to take the lead during the middle innings, but could not come up with the big hit. In the fifth, Mt. Hood took the lead 3-1 via a homerun. In the seventh, the Bulldogs battled back scoring one run, before leaving the tying run stranded on 2nd to come up short by a 3-2 score. In the final game of the weekend Sunday afternoon, the Bulldogs bats came alive as they beat Big Bend 11-1. Breonna Chrisman pitched well and Lindsay Sullivan homered in the winning effort.

The Bulldogs (16-9) begin a series of three away dates, resuming league play at Peninsula College Fri., April 23; game time 2 p.m.
