BCC SOFTBALL SIGNS FIVE

The BCC softball program has announced the signing of five players starting with the 2008-09 school year.  The five incoming freshman will join a strong returning class made up of nine players from the BCC team that recorded a school best 42-6 record and were North-Region champions in 2008.

The five signees are:

Katie Brett - Infielder/Pitcher from Mt. Si High School
Sydney Buser - Infielder from Lake Stevens High School
Lexi Kubin - Outfielder from Lake Stevens High School
Megan McLachlan - Catcher from Squalicum High School
Megan Zender - Infielder/Pitcher from Mt. Baker High School

"I am very excited about signing these five incoming freshman," stated Head Coach Leah Francis.  "Each one of them will play vital roles with the team over the next two seasons and will be great additions to the program.  We have a very strong core of returners and I think the freshman will provide a great deal experience and depth to the team.  I am very excited to get on the field with this team come fall and I look forward to seeing what they can do this upcoming season!"
