MEN’S SOCCER DEFEATS SOUTH PUGET SOUND CC
October 18, 2007
The BCC Men’s Soccer team remained in third place in the West Region standings following a 5-0 home victory over South Puget Sound Community College on October 12. Fatih Pamukci (Fr, Germany) got BCC on the board early, scoring the first of his two goals in the second minute. The follow-up came just 13 minutes later, as he scored unassisted in the 15th. Vinni Oliveira (Fr, Sammamish) took over from there, scoring two more goals in the 38th and 45th minutes, to stake Bellevue to a 4-0 lead. The final score of the day came from freshman midfielder Gilberto “Junior” Robayo (Snohomish HS) in the 66th minute, off of an assist from Oliveira.
Freshman Tommy Forysiak (Germany) recorded three assists in the match, while Oliveira increased his team leading goal count to 10, good enough for sixth place overall in the NWAACC.
Up next, BCC will take on Southwestern Oregon Community College at home on October 19 at 3:00pm, and will then host Olympic College on October 20 at 2:00pm. Both games will be played on the BCC Soccer field and are free and open to the public. |
