BCC TO HOST SOPHOMORE ALL-STAR GAMES
Bellevue Community College will play host to the best talent in the NWAACC on Sunday March 9th, when BCC hosts the 2008 NWAACC Sophomore All-Star Games. The day long event will kick off with a pair of women’s games at 11:00am and 12:30pm, followed by the men’s games at 2:00pm and 3:30pm. The complete schedule is as follows: 11:00am – South Women vs. West Women Each All-Star team is comprised of the top sophomores from each region, as voted by the region’s coaches. Included on this year's Northern Region team, are BCC sophomores Josh Monagle, Michael Duty, and Steve Wiseley for the men, and Marissa Bower and Lyndsee Landon for the women . This year’s games will be broadcast on the College Channel, BCC’s local cable access television station. The games can be watched live on channel 28 in the east king county region, and will also be available for free replay for Comcast Digital Cable subscribers in Washington State via the company’s On Demand service. Admission to the game is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors, students, and children (ages 6-18). Children under 6 and four year college coaches will receive free admission.
