FORMER BULLDOG STANDOUT RICHARD LEE MAKES FINAL STAGE OF PGA TOUR QUALIFYING SCHOOL

Former Bellevue College golfing great Richard Lee tied for ninth at the second stage of PGA Tour Qualifying School this past weekend at the Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, CA. The final stage of qualifying school will be a six round competition from Dec. 1-6 in Orlando, FL with the top 25 earning PGA Tour cards. Lee shot an opening round of 66 last week before finishing the tourney at 9-under par, good enough to finish tied for ninth overall. Lee's climb in the professional golf ranks come after stellar seasons for both the Bellevue College and University of Washington golf programs. Lee was an All-Pac-10 golfer in 2009.
