BCC Invitational Summary

BCC hosted 8 men's teams and 5 women's teams for the 10th Annual BCC XC Invitational on Saturday, October 18th. Club Northwest captured the individual and team titles for men and women with John Timeus and Vanessa Hunter taking top honors in 24:33 and 16:59 respectively. The BCC athletes competed well, and while the women were unable to score as a team, Daria Lipka and Margaux Barlag-Welling were the first two community college athletes to cross the line in the women's race in 20:11 and 20:24. Clayton Barnes was first across the line for BCC in the men's 8K with his season best time of 27:01. The men's and women's cross country teams will return to action next Saturday at the North Region Championship meet in Bellingham, WA.
