Bulldogs Season Opener Tonight at Lower Columbia

Bellevue College's season opener tonight against Lower Columbia will available with live play-by-play on the NWAACC's PointStreak site here. Saturday's games vs. Lane (OR) will not be available for live stat tracking. Score results will be available on the NWAACC website. The number-one ranked Bulldogs open up the 2013 season with a young squad featuring 20 newcomers. Head Coach Mark Yoshino will mix and match lineups over the weekend to give everyone some season-opening experience, as the weather forecast to get in all four games on season-opening weekend appears to be favorable. Jake Reppert, a 6-5 lefty who has signed to pitch at Northwest Nazarene University next year, will start the season opener in game one. Steven Johnson, a sophomore righty, will start game two. The Bulldogs will then travel to Forest Grove, OR to play Lane CC on Pacific University's new natural grass field on Saturday.
