Bellevue Nationally Ranked in 2011 Pre-Season Poll

The 2011 Bellevue College baseball team is ranked 27th in the nation in the pre-season poll conducted by Perfect Game USA, one of the leading coverage providers of amateur baseball. It is the third time Bellevue has been in the national rankings since their 17th in the nation ranking in 2007, their highest position ever. Only one other northwest college, Lower Columbia, cracked the polls with a ranking of 36th. Howard JC of Texas, who won the National Junior College World Series in 2009 after going 57-0 before losing a game, is the number one team in the country.
