Background: A returning catcher from last spring who has endured two season-long injuries (back in 2011) (thumb in 2010)...came back at end of 2010 season to help Bulldogs capture the North Region Tourney...two-year letter-winner at Lake Washington HS for Coach Derek Bingham… hit .329 as a senior… honorable mention All-KingCo 4A catcher … played summer baseball for the Seattle Stars for Coach Guy Keller… hit .319.

Personal: Born May 27, 1991...son of Joe (area scout for the Seattle Mariners) and Larry Ross… one brother (Luke, 11)… 2.9 GPA in high school scoring 1650 on the SAT… communications major… chose Bellevue because he wanted to play baseball and get a great education… heard about the Bellevue program from his father Joe and summer coach Guy Keller… lists greatest baseball thrill as winning the KingCo 4A title his senior year… dedicating this season to his father… self-described as hard-working… goal for this year is to become a better player and student.
