Personal: Born February 14, 1991...son of Dan “Bud” (business development) and Char (homemaker) Hering… one brother (Riley, 15)… father played football for Ohio Wesleyan University… grandfather (C.D. Hering jr.) played football and basketball and ran track for Kenyon College… 2.9 GPA in high school scoring 1500 on the SAT… Knight Valor honor for 100+ hours of community service…chose Bellevue for the baseball program… heard about the Bellevue program from high school coach Brian Fischer… also considered Washington State University and Central Washington University… lists greatest baseball thrill as pitching at Safeco field during the state playoffs… dedicating this season to his parents… self-described as eager to improve… goal for this season is to bring back another NWAACC title.
