Bulldogs Pound 21 Hits in 15-1 Win
April 28 , 2009

Bellevue College’s baseball team collected 21 hits en route to a 15-1 non-league win over Grays Harbor College Tuesday night at Pioneer Park in Aberdeen. The starting outfield trio of Ryan Shelton, Ian McKay, and Michael Robertson accounted for 13 of those hits as Shelton went 5-for-5, Robertson 4-for-5, and McKay 3-for-5 including a home run. Mike Stone also clubbed his second home run of the year. Seafth Howe, Jeff Bethke, Ian Parmley, and Kaylor Hasbargen combined for 15 strikeouts and only two hits in their pitching outings. Bellevue plays a key series against Olympic College this weekend. Saturday's doubleheader is at Bellevue while Sunday's will be at Legion Field in Bremerton. Both days have 1:00 starts.
