Background: Transfer from the University of Washington…a three-year letter-winner at Tahoma HS for Coach Russ Hayden…8-1 with a 1.72 ERA as a senior, helping the Bears to a 17-3 record and 3rd in state finish…named to the All-State team and was First Team All-South Puget Sound North 4A pitcher and was the Cy Young Award winner for Tahoma…team went 20-5 as a junior finishing 4th at state…Second Team All-South Puget Sound North 4A P…Cy Young Award winner.
Scouting Report: Left-handed pitcher with a good frame….very loose and easy arm action… impressed this fall by throwing strikes with three pitches…has made minor refinements in his delivery this fall with improved alignment and posture…has had variability in fast ball velocity in the past but pitches with success in the mid-80 mph range…is expected to be yet another left-hander to flourish in the Bellevue program.
