Background: Three-year letter-winner at West Valley HS for Coach Klayton Wyckoff…All-Columbia Basin 3A outfield and Team Captain as a senior…played two summers for Yakima Valley Pepsi-Paks for Coach Mike Archer…team finished second in state legion tourney both years.

Scouting Report: Big-bodied two-way player with more upside than anybody on the team…upper 80 mph fast ball... working on smoothing out his delivery to make him more repeatable… showed flashes of big time potential at the plate during fall… plus arm strength in RF… has the chance to be the hidden gem of entire NWAACC if he keeps progressing at the rate he is now.

Personal: Born October 30, 1989 in Yakima, WA…son of Eric and Judy Edwards…one sister (Andrea, 21) who plays basketball at the University of Puget Sound…chose Bellevue because of it’s good reputation…also considered attending Lower Columbia College…lists greatest baseball thrill of playing in the American Legion state championship at Cheney Stadium…dedicating season to his family.
