Materials: all supplies are required.

*You will need these materials the second day of class

Paper

Strathmore Drawing paper pad, 400 series 18 x 24”

*Newsprint pad of 100 sheets, rough surface preferred, 18 x 24”

Black charcoal paper 18” x 24” (3 sheets each)

other paper may be added later

Drawing mediums

Alphacolor or Weber Costello Charkole, box of 12

*drawing pencils, 2B and 4B

*extra soft Willow vine charcoal, box

white and black conte crayon (B soft)

*kneaded gum eraser (2)

white plastic eraser

Misc

Krylon Crystal Clear matte spray fixative

*paper portfolio to carry materials

*art bin or container to carry other supplies

masking tape

18” ruler

waterless hand cleaner

work apron recommended

*Masonite board with clips or other type drawing board

ball of heavy string or white twine
