Our Program
Green Sustainable Design Certificate
(SDC) Program
Bellevue College (BC) is offering a 15 credit hour Green Sustainable Design Certificate (SDC) program during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. This comprehensive program includes three sequential courses that cover the history of environmental issues in relation to the built interior environment, bioregional resources, sustainable design theory, methods and materials, and evaluation of sustainable design. Each course meets weekly for 3 hours of classroom or field trip activity and 2 hours of structured online learning activities. Students should plan to spend up to 10 hours per week for research and project work in addition to the classroom and online activities.
