Entanglement Theory

(A Devised Musical)

If you sing great - if you don't - you don't have to sing!
April 26, 2013 | Time: 2:30 pm -5:30
pm

Carlson or Stop Gap Theatre - Meet in the Lobby!
Wear comfortable clothes.
Plan to stay for the entire time.

.

Rehearsals -
We will have a couple of rehearsals this quarter. We will arrange them after we cast the show and they will depend on the cast's schedule.

Full time rehearsals begin summer quarter and run from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Not everyone will be required to stay until 2:00 pm every day. Most everyone will always be called until 1:00 pm.

The show runs
August 1- 4, 2013, at 7:30 pm. Starting JULY 29, 2013, you must be available afternoon and evenings (just for that week). We will not rehearse in the mornings that week.

Devising - Simple definition: An ensemble based creative process that develops performance work using viewpoints and composition work. If you do not have experience or even know what viewpoints is - that is FINE! You will learn the process.

We will be using The Lost Symbol, How the Irish Saved Civilization, Seattle History, personal insight, Noetics and the Entanglement Theory to develop this show.

Entanglement:

Entanglement is the process of connecting two separate things, be they photons or nanoscale objects, so that they behave the same no matter their distance apart. What happens to one particle also happens to the other, even if they are separated by the entire universe.

Simplified - Everything is connected and tangled up with each other causing like actions. We will explore thos ore in-depth during the rehearsal process.
