Magnetic Resonance Imaging

MRI

This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the physics principles of MRI, machine components and their operation, image production and other areas identified by the ARRT as specifications for the Advanced Level Exam in MRI.

Sectional anatomy is not included, however, some anatomy and pathology will be presented as an integral part of learning proper protocol selection. MRI

Successful completion of this 3 credit course (C- or better) results in 36 continuing education credits which more than satisfies the 24 credit requirement by the ARRT for a biennium.

This course is normally offered during Spring quarter, and meets one night a week for three hours.
