- BC Math instructor Dale Hoffman receives the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Pacific Northwest Section of the Mathematical Association of America

- BCC student stage production selected for Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
- BCC jazz choir wins first place at Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival
