Description: Phi Theta Kappa, a national community/junior college honor society, recognizes student academic excellence and leadership potential and gives members the opportunity for involvement in various campus and community service activities. Active members are eligible for scholarships, travel to conferences and for participation in volunteer activities, which enhance transfer opportunities. The BCC chapter, Alpha Epsilon Rho, requires a 3.5 GPA for membership eligibility. Alpha Epsilon Rho is one of the leading chapters in the region and the nation.
