My Class Sites on MyBCC:
The instructor will post updated course schedule and study materials, such as audio files, Workbook answers, lecture notes and worksheets used for future classes, on MyBCC website. It is student’s responsibility to regularly log onto My Class Sites on MyBCC, find and utilize the provided materials and information relevant to his/her study. Computers and printers are available at Library Media Center and Computer Lab (N250). Additional computers are available at Language Lab (A244).
Attendance:
Students are expected to attend class every day. Rolls are called daily at the beginning of
the class. If students arrive late or
leave early, their participation points of the day will be severely
penalized. If students miss class, they are responsible to find out what they have
missed from their classmate and/or MyBCC website. Please also refer to the details
described in the “Student Procedures and Expectations” at http://www.bellevuecollege.edu/artshum/policy.html. Remember to sign up for the emergency school
closure notification at the following link: https://bellevuecollege.edu/alerts/LogIn.aspx

participation is the key to his/her success in this course and is accessed
daily. Make sure to bring your textbook,
Workbook, and additional worksheets that may be posted on My Class Sites on
MyBCC website to class.
Tests:
Tests are given at
the end of each Lesson 9, Lesson 10, and Lesson 11. The content of Lesson 12 will be included in

day of each test, please turn in your self-corrected Workbook for that
lesson. Tentative test dates are
included in the course schedule.
Quizzes:
Several small
quizzes are given throughout the quarter.
The purpose of these quizzes is to help students establish steady study
habits. Students will be informed
exactly what to study, and studying for these quizzes will prepare students
better for daily lessons and tests at the end of each Lesson. Tentative quiz dates are included in the
course schedule.
Make-Ups:
No make-up tests or
quizzes will be given for any reasons, except for an official BCC competition/event/activity

changes announced in class and/or posted on MyBCC throughout the quarter.
Homework:
It is student’s
responsibility to review the materials covered in class by completing exercises
in his/her Workbook. Please note
that comprehensive listening practice provided at the end of each lesson
requires students to listen to three or four dialogues on the CDs reserved at
Library Media Center or on the audio files posted on My Class Sites on
MyBCC. Please plan regular visits to
Library Media Center, Computer Lab or Language Lab for this purpose, unless you
have internet access at home. Self-corrected
