Supply List:

 

Corked backed metal ruler (18”)

Acrylic paint, Ivory Black and Titanium White

Round pointed acrylic brush (#3 to #6) and buy a flat, soft ¾” to 1 inch “erminette”or appropriate substitute.

At least 12 sheets layout bond paper, more if needed (can buy pad)

Plastic palette (with paint wells) optional

Hard (2 or 3 H) and a soft (6or 8 B) pencils or graphite stick

Duo-Plast (white) eraser

Quality scissors

X-acto knife and blades/ or roller cutter

Self healing cutting pad

Drafting or painter’s tape

Rubber cement or rubber cement substitute

Rubber cement “eraser”

Waterproof fine line black pen

Circle cutter (optional)

Flexible curve (optional)

Paper required for each assignment will be announced in the preceding class., but in general,

they will consist of:

v     Illustration board (cold press, white medium weight)

v     IBM Floppy Disc

v     Black, white, gray Mi-tientes paper (or comparable cotton rag paper)

v     Tracing paper or graphite paper, others as needed
