A Sustainable Interior Designer (aka Green Designer) understands the complex environmental, social, and cultural issues of design decisions. Sustainable Designers use their knowledge of place, ecological systems, energy efficiency, resource conservation, social justice, and toxicology to create healthy interiors that aim to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants without compromising health for others.
